"Easy to get to from the airport, then start you vacation the next morning. Great beach and food. Waiters and bartenders were also good but the room needed a little refreshing. Been coming here for many years and the rooms haven’t changed. . Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly!"

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Estate Saunders Gut?
The best time to go to Estate Saunders Gut is between December and May, during the dry season, when the weather is consistently warm and sunny with lower humidity. This period offers the most pleasant conditions for enjoying all the outdoor activities and beaches the U.S. Virgin Islands have to offer.

During these months, you'll experience average temperatures ranging from 24°C to 29°C, with gentle trade winds making for comfortable days and evenings. This is ideal for spending time on the pristine beaches, exploring the island's natural beauty, or engaging in water sports like snorkelling and sailing.

Couples looking for a romantic escape will find this period particularly appealing. The clear skies and calm waters create a superb backdrop for beachside dinners, sunset cruises, and leisurely days by the sea. The lower chance of rain ensures your plans won't be disrupted.

Families also benefit greatly from travelling during these months. The consistent good weather means children can enjoy the beaches and outdoor adventures without interruption, and the generally calm seas are superb for swimming and other water activities. Many resorts offer family-friendly programmes that are in full swing during this peak season.
